Getting Started with Cherry Proxy

Global Proxy

Protocols

HTTP

Our product documentation includes code examples demonstrating how to connect to proxies using the HTTP protocol. This protocol is supported by general libraries and third-party software.

HTTPS

You can also enhance security by using a fully encrypted connection via the HTTPS protocol. To do this, you must prepend https:// to your proxy endpoint.

For example: https://all-na.360s5.com:20001

(This also applies to country/region-specific proxy endpoints).

Please note that some libraries (or their older versions) and certain third-party tools may not support HTTPS, so be sure to check before modifying your code.

SOCKS5

You can also enhance security by using a fully encrypted connection via the SOCKS5 protocol. To do this, you need to prepend socks5h:// to your proxy endpoint.

For example: socks5h://all-na.360s5.com:20001

(This also applies to country/region-specific proxy endpoints).
